1. What Ballot is
Ballot is a thin interface over the TXC blockchain. Polls, votes, and tallies are recorded on chain. We do not custody funds, hold private keys, or process payments. Everything you do here is between you, your wallet, and the chain.
2. Wallets and identity
Your TXC address is your identity. We verify ownership by checking a signed message. We never ask for your seed phrase or private key, and no one at Ballot can recover a lost wallet.
3. Voting
Votes are TXC transactions sent from your wallet to a poll option address. Once broadcast, they are final. Network fees and confirmation times are determined by the chain, not by us.
4. Content
You are responsible for any poll, comment, or label you create. Do not post anything illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, or that infringes someone else's rights. We may hide content that violates these rules.
5. No warranty
Ballot is provided as-is. The chain, the smart-contract-like token flows, the third-party RPC endpoints, and this interface may fail or produce unexpected results. Use at your own risk.
6. No financial advice
Nothing on Ballot is investment, legal, or tax advice. TXC and ISK are volatile crypto assets. Voting tokens have no monetary value.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new version.
